She is one of great grand-daughters of Late Dr. MakhanLal Roy Choudhury, noted Historian and Educationist and Late RajendraLal Roy Choudhury of Noakhali Genocide 1946 (Wikipedia). She was student of Gokhale Memorial Girls’ School and Presidency College, Kolkata.
